TERRIFIC TOTS

This class is for children who have not yet taken a dance class, and are under the age of 4.

MOMMY AND ME

This class is for beginners, or babies under 3. They will learn creative movement and fundamental skills.

BALLET/TAP COMBO

Ballet and Tap Combo classes are for girls and boys who are interested in the start of dance and want to have fun while learning the basics of each technique. Dancers can remain in each level for at least 2 years to fully understand the concept of each step. 

JAZZ

Jazz is a dance form or dance that is matched to the rhythms and techniques of jazz music, showcasing personality and working on the techniques of the art. 

BALLET

B​allet is a classical dance form demanding grace and precision and employing formalized steps and gestures set in intricate, flowing patterns to create expression through movement.

LYRICAL 

Lyrical dance is a combination of ballet and liturgical. Dancers will learn to praise him through dance and learn basic ballet technique. 

HIP HOP

The style of street dancing, graffiti art, and break dancing all in one class!

CONTEMPORARY 

Contemporary dance is a dance performance genre that developed during the mid twentieth century and has since grown to become one of the dominant genres for formally trained dancers throughout the world.

ACRO DANCE

Acrobatic Arts skills will be taught for levels Primary to Professional. Dancers will learn stretching techniques and acrobatic tumbling skills.

DANCE TEAM PREP

Dancers will learn progressions and certain techniques used on Dance Teams locally and professionally.

Tuition Information 

Tuition is based on a nine-month season, which averages out to 32 classes, with 2 or 3 built in snow days. This includes all studio holidays, Recital rehearsals and Recital day. If we do not use the snow days, students do not have to pay extra for them.

Holidays will not have rescheduled make-up days. However, students may make up missed classes due to snow days or illness by attending an equivalent class within one month of the missed class if there is one available.

Tuition prices include the recital fee $25 and a costume fee $65 per costume, and monthly class time broken down between all 9 months.

EARLY BIRD 

All tuition paid before  the 15th of each month will receive the early bird discount. All tuition paid after the 15th, will be full price tuition. You may pay in the payment box at the studio, online with your credit/debit card, by mail to 420 E Meeting St., Dandridge, TN 37725. 

If tuition is over 60 days late, your dancer will be removed from class and must get approval before returning to class. No refunds of any kind will be given. This includes costume payments.

REFUNDS

There are NO refunds given for discontinued classes or missed classes. If a student withdraws after the first of the month, you are responsible for payment for the remainder of the month.

Class refunds are only available in the following two instances:

1. When PDCA removes a class from the schedule of classes

2. When you withdraw before the start of the first class

(in this instance a $15 withdrawal fee will be assessed).

Sibling Discount:

You will receive $10 off monthly tuition per additional child after one regular price child is enrolled.

Assistant Scholarship Program:

Students who are interested in assisting in classes must have the director’s approval and must attend an “Assistant Seminar” which will be scheduled before the season begins. All assistants will be required to maintain a time sheet for each month that the teacher will sign off on at the end of the month. Students accounts will be credited $5 per class they assist. Assistants are required to be present in all classes for which he/she has agreed to assist. If he/she cannot be present, he/she must find a substitute to fill his/her position, and notify the teacher of the class of his/her impending absence.

COSTUMES

Participation in Spring Recitals is optional, however the cost of the costume and recital fee is included within the monthly tuition. Those who are not participating in the recital will not be discounted for the costume and recital fee. All students account balances must be paid in full by May 15, 2018 in order for your child to participate in the 2017-2018 dance recital.

LATE REGISTRATION 

Families that register after September 15th  will be subject to the registration fee, costume fee, and recital fee.
